PAttern Recognition, Image processing and MAchine Learning (PARIMAL) is an inter-disciplinary endeavour founded by Dr. Partha Pratim Roy of Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Roorkee in 2018. It is a team of highly motivated researchers, specializing in the fields of Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computational Neuroscience and Cognitive Modelling. This amalgamation of expertise in a diverse set of fields allows to create a unique space which inspires to innovate and create cutting-edge technologies that provide state-of-the-art research contribution as well as great social impact. The team is in constant touch with the industry and government organizations and also inculcate the entrepreneurial spirit in real-life projects.
