I am a Research Scholar (PhD) in Dept. of CSE, IITR, advised by Dr Partha Pratim Roy (IIT Roorkee). My research interests are Machine learning, Image and Video Processing, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. I have completed my B.Tech and M.Tech from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (UP) in 2010, 2012 respectively.

Research Problem: Information Retrieval from Document images
Any image that is used as a record is a document image. The text in such an image plays a vital role in gathering information about the environment of the image. This information can be used for a wide range of other purposes as scene parsing, autonomous driving, Indexing of the printed materials, Human-Computer Interaction and many more. Collectively these problems have their primary issues which hinder their solutions. These issues are text size, orientation, ambiguity in intra-class ( different shapes of a character) and inter-class (e.g. class label of ‘0’, ‘o’, ‘O’), the variation of the background and foreground textures, etc. In this work, I am trying to create a feature space that resembles these discriminations between two text image samples rather than the class of the text.
